Czech Inflation Sneaks Upwards Again In July

Czech inflation accelerated in July for the first time in six months on higher prices for natural gas, cigarettes and holiday packages. The inflation rate climbed to 6.9 percent from June's 6.7 percent, according to data from the Prague-based statistics office earlier today. Month on month, consumer prices rose 0.5 percent following 0.2 percent growth in June.
